Terms of Use

Last updated June 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Trellis website and services, provided by Mytrellis Ltd ("Trellis", "we", "us"). By using Trellis, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The most important thing to understand: Trellis provides guidance, not regulated financial advice. Nothing we show you is a personal recommendation. Always treat our outputs as a starting point for your own thinking — and seek regulated advice for decisions that need it.

1.What Trellis is — and isn't

Trellis is an educational and guidance tool that helps you understand your own financial situation in retirement. We generate a "safe-to-spend" range and related information from figures you provide.

2.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom to use Trellis.

3.Your account

You can explore your first range without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

4.Plans and pricing

Trellis is currently free to use. We may introduce optional paid plans with additional features in the future. If and when we do, the applicable price, billing terms, renewal terms, and any cancellation rights will be clearly shown to you before you commit to anything. We will not charge you without your prior agreement.

5.Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Trellis — including by attempting to disrupt the service, access it unlawfully, scrape or copy it at scale, reverse-engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful.

6.Intellectual property

Trellis, including its name, branding, design, content and software, is owned by Mytrellis Ltd and protected by law. You may use the service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce or exploit it without our permission.

7.Third-party partners

Trellis does not currently offer connections to third-party partners. We may introduce partner integrations in the future, and these terms will be updated at that time to reflect any relevant arrangements.

8.Limitation of liability

Because Trellis provides guidance and not advice, and because outputs depend on your inputs and on assumptions, to the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any decisions you make, or losses you incur, in reliance on the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (for example, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

9.Changes and termination

We may update the service or these terms from time to time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. You can stop using Trellis at any time.

10.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
